What is Phoenix Botánica?

Phoenix Botánica makes functional aromatherapy tools — rollers, mists, balms, body oils, and bath soaks — designed to help an overstimulated nervous system find its way back to center. Each blend is built for a specific state: overwhelm, scattered focus, boundary fatigue, the aftermath of a hard day. Sacred, not serious. Built for people carrying a lot.

What does “somatic” mean?

“Somatic” simply means “of the body.” Our products work through scent and touch — two of the fastest routes to the nervous system. A deliberate inhale and a moment of intentional application signal your body to shift out of a reactive state. The ritual is part of the function.

How do the rollers and mists actually work?

Scent travels directly to the parts of the brain that regulate stress and emotion. When you roll a blend onto your pulse points, pause, and take a slow breath, you give your nervous system a clear, repeatable cue that it’s safe to downshift. Used consistently, the ritual itself becomes a reset button.

Are these just essential oils?

No. Every blend is intentionally formulated for a specific nervous-system state and diluted in skin-loving carrier oils (like MCT and jojoba) at safe, considered ratios — not random scents thrown together. Think of them as precision tools, not perfume.

What’s actually in them?

Plant-based carrier oils, pure essential oils, and skin-supporting botanicals. Full ingredient lists appear on every product page, and our What’s Inside page explains our formulation philosophy. We don’t hide what we use.

Are they safe? Any precautions?

Our products are for external use only. Always patch test before first use, keep away from eyes, and discontinue if irritation occurs. If you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are under a doctor’s care, consult a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. These products are cosmetics and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

How do I choose the right product?

What if the scent isn’t right for me?

Scent is personal. If a blend’s profile isn’t the right fit for your system, we offer a one-time scent exchange within 14 days of delivery — reach out and we’ll help you find a better match.

How long do orders take?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 3–7 business days via USPS or UPS. You’ll receive tracking by email when your order ships. Local pickup is available in Pearland, TX. Full details are on our Shipping Policy.

What’s your return policy?

Unused items in original, unopened condition can be returned within 14 days. Because these are personal-care products, opened items aren’t eligible for return — but damaged or incorrect orders are always made right. Contact us within 7 days. See our Refund Policy for details.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes. Phoenix Botánica products are handcrafted in small batches and never tested on animals.
